Choose according to the recipient’s taste, the vintage’s style and the occasion. Piemonte-based Nebbiolo (Barolo/Gattinara) offers structure and complexity; Gattinara is often lighter and mineral. If freshness is desired, consider white/rosé. A wine from the birth year is a personal birthday gift for both her and him. All bottles are 0,75 l and contain sulfites.

Stand the bottle upright 24 hours before serving so the sediment collects. Open carefully and decant just before serving only to remove sediment. Very old wines should not be aired for long. Serve at approx. 16–18 °C in large glasses.
